Consultations
The main goal of your consultation is to understand your history and goals so we can work together to create a personalised treatment plan and get your desired result.
During your consultation, we will go through your history, goals, information about electrolysis, pre- and post-care and you will have all your questions answered. Consultations usually take about 30 minutes, but we allow 45 minutes so we can perform a test patch ($25).
Test patches are crucial because they allow you to know what it feels like, and they also allow us to find settings that best suit you because no two people are alike. We will also be able to see how your skin heals and if there are any extra precautions we need to take (for example, if you get a lot of redness for an extended period, then we can send you home with some ice or potentially adjust settings).
To accurately track your progress, we will review your treatment area, and a photo will be taken at the beginning of each session. This will start at your consultation.
Your consultation is FREE, your test patch is $25 (this includes your aftercare gel). So, if you don’t do a test patch, you don’t pay*. If you want to extend your test patch to a treatment and we have the time, you will only be charged for the time you are treated. For example, if we start your test patch and you think, WOW I can do this! And want to do a 30-minute treatment, then you will only be charged for the 30-minute treatment; the patch test will be included in the price.
If you want to book a treatment (not a test patch) at the time of consultation the longest time available will be 30 minutes, after your initial treatment you can book treatments up to 4 hours long.
This is a journey that we will take together, so if you ever have questions or concerns, contact us immediately.
*Unless you have booked through Fresha, you must pay for your test patch when booking, and it can be refunded if you don’t go ahead. If you do not know if you want a test patch, call, SMS, DM, or email us to book in (it can always be added at the time of consultation).
